Monument for the Mermaid of Warsaw
"I made this project for a dual fountain of connected basins. Beneath the water there was to be a metal balance, so articulated that the bronze statues of the Mermaid on one side and St. Christopher on the other would alternately rise and submerge. The Mermaid is pregnant with the new Dawn. She feels her abdomen for the life of the Dawn infant, Jesus, due to which she is all radiant. Her tail squirms, creating three Bi symbols for the three lavaic land-masses that comprise Easter Island." - Stanislav Szukalski
